News : Miyamoto in Paris Mar. 16th, 2006 @ 11:07 am
Some of you who keep watch, noticed yesterday we reported that Twilight Princess will have bonus use for the Nintendo Revoltion. This was confirmed in an article written by Nintendo-Europe that was only avaliable in their VIP section. Since there was much more to the article than just that tid-bit of news, and most of you won't have access to that particular section, I thought I'd share the article with you word for word.

Nintendo Revolution to go Beyond Good and Evil

While surfing the wild world wide web to find you the most up to date information for this website, I ran across an article at Jeuxpo. Now I'm not French, and I've never claimed to be able to speak French, but when you pop this article here into a google language translator a few interesting things are revealed. The most import thing is the site says that recently knighted Ubisoft producer Michel Ancel is currently working on a sequel to Beyond Good & Evil.

News: Nintendo DS Lite Mar. 15th, 2006 @ 05:44 pm
The Nintendo DS Lite is still selling strong in Japan despite early production delays with the "Ice Blue" and "Navy Enamel" colors. It was reported that The Yodobashi Camera store in Osaka stocked close to 2,100 Nintendo DS Lites, and sold out after only 2.5 hours of being on sale in the morning.

The "Crystal White" DS was release on March 2 and was a smash success. The two other colors were released on March 11th to a similar hype, and in the past 13 days since the launch there as been no slowing down. With over 14.4 million DS and DS Lite units sold worldwide, and some huge games planned to be released this year. It's safe to say that the Nintendo DS in all it's forms, isn't going anywhere.

Shigeru Miyamoto was recently in Paris to receieve a French Cultural Award for his contribution to game design. Nintendo Europe was able to catch up with Miyamoto, and when asked about the progress of Twilight Princess, Mr Miyamoto had this to say:

"I would say that we are progressing well with completing it," ... "And one of the most important features is that, because Revolution can run GameCube software, when you play Twilight Princess on Revolution you can take advantage of the Revolution controller."

So the rumors are infact true, Twilight Princess will have added features when played on the Nintendo Revolution! The full interview can be read here

» News : Metroid Prime Hunters Bundle.
Metroid Prime Hunters Bundle to Heat up the Canadian Provinces.

Futureshop.ca will be offering the bundle starting March 22nd and will run the special deal until April 20th 2006. This special edition bundle will include a original Nintendo DS unit, Metroid Prime Hunters, and a Wi-Fi USB adaptor for $199.99 Canadian; Which adds up to around $174 U.S.

As of this time Futureshop's website is down, so an import may be possible, but is un-able to be confirmed. Some people believe this is just Nitnendo's way of getting rid of old stock as they prepare to launch the Nintendo DS Lite in N. America later this year. Which may also mean that a similar bundle may be avaliable in the States, but there is still no report or word on that at this point.

Rampage : Total Destruction
Release : April 24 2006
Nintendo Game Cube

With the Twilight Princess delayed yet again, and for whatever reason this time, one must wonder what Nintendo plans to offer to support the Cube until the Revolution hits stores. Well Nintendo has answered this year with just a handful of titles scheduled. Prefering to keep much of the world in mystery for the time being, one title for the Game Cube expected to hit the U.S. market in April is Rampage : Total Destruction. Anyone who remembers the original Rampage either loved it, or they hated it. This new version has been updated, but still looks to offer plenty of the same destructive gameplay you've come to know and love from Rampage.
